Ladies Open Day – held Monday 21st January
A big field of ladies enjoyed a wonderful day of golf at Magenta. 104 women played, one group from Port Macquarie. Luckily the weather improved after the crazy thunderstorm we had early that morning.
Sincere thanks to:
* Adam, Jeremy & Kylie for assistance with entries, registrations, lunches and compilation of the results.
* The green staff for setting up our course for the day.
* The members who donated a wonderful array of cakes and slices for our visitors.
* For the help and support from our match committee ladies Di Anderson & Shane Stuart.
* The Golf club, Vie spa & Barrett’s restaurant for their generous donations and support for our event.
* To Lin Sarkun for her donation of six embroidered golf towels for our lucky door prizes & Jill Marshall for flower arrangements in our members lounge.
* The Social committee for organising a raffle. Proceeds from the money raised will go to the CCWGA charity, Rose Cottage that helps victims of domestic violence and women in need.
Special thanks to Di May & Michelle Snape for volunteering your time selling tickets. Approx $700 was raised.
* To the volunteer men who assisted ladies with their golf bags and parking & to David Stuart, photographer on the day.
All joining together to ensure an enjoyable, friendly & successful day at our golf club.
