Dear Member,

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club Limited will be held at 5pm on Friday 8 November 2019. The AGM will be conducted at Pullman Magenta Shores Resort, in the Club’s Members’ Room.

Election of one Director – although no Directors are due to retire at this AGM, the Board resolved that it is appropriate for at least one Director position to be made vacant at each AGM so that Members have an opportunity to nominate for that position. Accordingly, Peter Gaydon will stand down, and offers himself for re-election at the AGM.

Tony Slater, Colin Kaye, Ron Latham and Ross Liddle will continue as Directors under their current terms.

Members who believe they have the requisite characteristics of a Director of the Club are invited to nominate as a Director using the form below.

Election of Club Captains – the Board has resolved to call for nominations for the election of the Men’s Club Captain and the Women’s Club Captain, in accordance with the Club’s by-laws. John O’Keefe and Julie Liddle have indicated their willingness to continue as Club Captains and will nominate for those roles. The Board is calling for nominations from other members who may wish to nominate for the Men’s or Women’s Club Captain positions.

A Member can be nominated for both a Directorship and a Captaincy position.

In accordance with the Club’s Constitution, the Notice of AGM, e-voting arrangements and forms for Appointment of Proxy will be forwarded at least 21 days prior to the AGM.

Persons whose membership has been suspended or forfeited are not entitled to vote.
