Important Notes for 2026 Membership

Thank you for your continued support for our Club. A reminder to everyone about their subscription fees for 2026/27.

Thank you for all of those who have already paid.

Some important points to clarify about Membership in 2026/27:

2026 Membership renewal:

As per the 'renewal advice' emailed to members during February 2026 for the new membership year starting 1 April 2026, the condition to receive the renewal gift is:

'paying the annual subscription amount in full before the due date'.

To avoid any confusion, the renewal gift is not available for members who pay by Ezidebit or those who pay after the due date.

This year, the renewal gift will be applied to member's account electronically during April - for redemption at the Pro Shop after April 25th 2026.

Warm up range credits:

The dispensing of balls is being modified in 2026 to more accurately reflect the benefit of 'warm-up range' balls.

The number of warm-up balls is being set to 30 - reflecting a standard pre game warm up. Members can dispense 1 bucket of warm-up balls every day of the year (except Christmas Day). If a member requires a 2nd bucket of balls on any one day, an option of 50 balls will be available at a fee $15 paid at the machine.

The reason is that typically, any more than 30 balls is 'practice' versus 'warming-up' - the fee will help us with the costs of ball collection as well as maintenance and upgrades of our range facilities which will be needed this year.

For Lifestyle members, a 'warm-up' bucket will be available with every redemption of course credits for 9 or 18 holes.

Dispensing of balls outside of play (ie. for 'practice') will be at $15 for a bucket of 50 balls.

Prize accounts:

Please ensure you spend your prize money in the pro shop inside 12 months from the win. Prize credits expire 12 months from the date of the win

Student News and Results and Upcoming events

Recent weeks have delivered a number of outstanding results and milestones across the Magenta coaching program.

At last weekends 'JNJG Blue Mountains Junior Masters' held at Blackheath Golf Club, student of Gavin's, Cooper Giddings (Dubbo Golf Club) produced an exceptional performance to claim victory at 8-under-par across two rounds. Fellow Magenta junior Levi Park continued his strong form, finishing in third place at 2-under-par, reflecting the positive progression in his game. Ava Prince also delivered a solid performance, finishing inside the top 10, highlighted by an excellent opening round.

Levi and Ava will next compete at the Australian Junior Championship at Ballarat Golf Club from the 7th - 10th of April.

Another significant achievement sees Magenta junior Blake Cranston selected in the New South Wales Junior State Team. Blake will represent the state at the upcoming Junior Interstate Series, to be held at Moonah Links, April 13th - 16th. The event will feature a match play format, with leading juniors from each state and New Zealand competing head-to-head.

Gavin will be in attendance at both the Australian Junior Championship and the Junior Interstate Series, supporting Ava and Levi, while also coaching the ACT and Northern Territory team in what is the first combined team for the two regions. The Junior Interstate event will see the top 10 juniors from each state battling it out across a week long match play tournament. Playing 7 x rounds over 4 days to determine which state reigns supreme.

Following these events, attention turns to the Regional Academy Games in Tamworth from 17–19 April, where both Levi and Ava will again compete. Ava returns as the defending champion after her win in 2025, with both players looking to continue their strong run of form.

Gavin's student, Josh Fuller aims to secure a PGA Tour card of Australasia next week at Moonah Links at Q School next week. Gavin will be heading down to assist him with his preparation this weekend but we wish him the best of luck as well as congratulations on being selected for the NSW Mens State Team.
